The SEFE Energy Collection and Risk teams have won two of the biggest categories of the night at the British Credit Awards 2024:
Business to Business Credit Team of the Year and Risk Management Team award
The award ceremony is hosted annually by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), the leading Credit and Risk body in the UK, and is open to any company from any industry across the country.
As well as the awards won, the team were also finalists for the Credit Professional of the Year and Team Player of the Year awards.
The British Credit Awards recognise the stand-out achievements of the most deserving individuals, teams and organisations in the credit industry. The 17 awards are fiercely contested and promote company standards and best practice.
Shakiba Ahsen, Vice President, Enterprise & Operational Risk, said:
“Our Risk team worked very hard over the year to protect the business and our customers. Whilst ensuring continuity of key business processes during a challenging regulatory and commodity market environment, we continuously delivered projects to automate and improve our reporting and processes.
“There were multiple teams involved in delivering these projects and I would like to thank all the colleagues involved in supporting these."
Atul Vadher, Head of Collections, said:
“I am very proud of the team's collective achievements. These awards really do represent the best of the best in the UK across all industries. To have such a strong showing in the finalist list and carry off two of the biggest awards of the night is external recognition of the exceptional work we do in developing strategies to overcome challenges to protect the company, and a testament to the team's commitment to serving our customers."
