The German government becomes the sole owner of the SEFE Group

At the start of August, we shared the news that Gazprom Energy had renamed to become SEFE Energy. This was a significant step forward for our business and followed the appointment of the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) as trustee for the SEFE Group of companies in April of this year.

We are now pleased to confirm that the Federal Government of Germany has become the sole owner of SEFE Group and all its subsidiaries, including SEFE Energy.

This change solidifies SEFE Group as a major European energy company with the strength and stability to fulfil the important task of sustainably securing energy for Europe.
